Kofi Opare (born December 10, 1990 in Accra, Ghana) is an American soccer player currently playing for the Michigan Bucks in the USL Premier Development League, and for the University of Michigan men's soccer team.

Opare was born in Ghana, but moved to Niagara Falls, Ontario in Canada with his parents when he was a small child. He attended St. Paul High School, played club soccer for the St. Catharine's Concord Gunners, and played in the Canadian Soccer League for St. Catharines Wolves in 2008,[1] before enrolling at the University of Michigan in 2009.[2] He saw action in action in 14 games with 10 starts in his debut college soccer season, scored one goal, and was named to the Big Ten All-Freshman Team.
Opare is also currently playing with Michigan Bucks in the USL Premier Development League during his 2010 collegiate off-season.[3]
Opare was called up to the United States U-20 team in January 2009[4] for a friendly against Trinidad & Tobago.[5]
